Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook v3.2 System Requirements: - Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP - Outlook 2000/2002/2003 - Email account must be either POP, Microsoft Exchange, IMAP, AOL, or Hotmail/MSN - Internet Explorer 5.0+ - 15 MB free hard disk space Troubleshooting Issues: 1) Crashes with McAfee VirusScan On startup, while loading Mailshell Anti-Spam, Microsoft Outlook crashes. If you have McAfee VirusScan Professional Edition, you must disable the HAWK Script Stopper to allow Mailshell Anti-Spam to load. 1) In McAfee VirusScan 7.0, choose "Configure automatic protection settings" from the list of tasks on the left. 2) Uncheck "Enable HAWK Script Stopper" 3) Click "Apply Settings" Outlook should now start without the error. 2) Does not support AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, or IMAP Accounts? Mailshell Anti-Spam v3.2 works with AOL accounts. If you paid for POP access to Yahoo! then Outlook can retrieve your Yahoo! messages and Anti-Spam Outlook can filter your messages. If you use Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003, you can configure Mailshell Anti-Spam to filter your Hotmail account. Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook can also be configured to filter folders in IMAP accounts using the "Enable Scan of folders" option. Please refer to the help file for instructions on how to set up Mailshell Anti-Spam to work with your AOL, Hotmail, or IMAP accounts. If you dont' use Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, or 2003, you can try the Mailshell Anti-Spam Universal Desktop Client which will work with most POP email clients and Hotmail/MSN. 3) Missing Mailshell Anti-Spam Toolbar in Outlook This should not normally happen. However, if you close Outlook and restart Outlook before Outlook has fully closed, then all Outlook Add-ins such as Mailshell Anti-Spam will not load. For example, if you close Outlook while a compose window is still open and restart Outlook, the Anti-Spam toolbar will be missing and Mailshell Anti-Spam will not operate because Outlook did not shutdown completely.
