To run the Mailshell Domino Plugin Manager,
go to "Start->Programs->Mailshell Domino Plugin->Domino
Plugin Manager".
Enable Domino Plugin
Check the "Enable Domino Plugin" check box
to enable or disable the Mailshell Domino Plugin.
Spam Field Name
To change the name of the spam folder, enter
the desired name in the "Spam Folder Name" textbox and click
on the "OK" button.
Spam Header
The Domino plugin will look for the specified
field to determine if an e-mail is spam. If this field is
present, the message will be moved to the spam folder. By
default, messages with the "X-SpamCatcher-Flag" field will
be moved to the SpamCatcher folder.
Other gateway software will likely require
a different "Spam Field" setting. The gateway's documentation
should be consulted to determine the proper spam field setting.
Enable Logging
Check the "Enable Logging" check box to enable
or disable logging by the Domino plugin.
Enable Automatic Cleanup of Spam Folder
Check the "Enable Automatic Cleanup of Spam
Folder" check box to enable or disable automatic cleaning
of the spam folder by the Domino plugin.
Server Settings
To change your server settings go to the Domino
menu and select the "Server Settings" item.
Domino Directory
This is the directory where your Lotus Domino
server is installed. You can find this directory by doing
a search for nserver.exe.
Start->Search->For Files and Folders.
You should see something like:
Lotus Domino Version
Select the version of your Lotus Domino server.
Location of Notes.ini
Enter the full path of your notes.ini file.
To enable the Domino plugin, the Domino Plugin
Manager needs to add the following entries to your notes.ini
file.
EXTMGR_ADDINS=spm
SPAM_FolderName=SpamCatcher
SPAM_FieldName=X-SpamCatcher-Flag
Note: dashes "-" are converted to underscores
"_" in the notes.ini file.
Uninstalling the Mailshell Domino Plugin
- From the Start Menu, select "Programs->Mailshell Domino
Plugin->Uninstall".
- Restart your Lotus Domino server.
