Apply Online   Spam Fighting Engineer What you'll do:  •  Gather more and higher quality data on worldwide email and network traffic.  •  Analyze massive traffic data.  •  Create reports on the recent behavior of spammers, phishers, etc.  •  Create and update spam filtering checks based on statistical theories and examples of spam caught in our network or submitted by customers.  •  Analyze the spam rules database for efficiency, tuning rules for performance and combining or eliminating redundant rules.  •  Create and maintain tools and scripts for analyzing and processing mail logs and spam. Demonstrate your thorough understanding of statistical analysis, mathematics, email protocols and email systems.  •  Fluency in foreign languages is a plus.  •  References and a genuine desire to stop spam are required.  •  Log all activities in internal knowledge database.  •  Manage outside consultants and vendors.
