The word [spamcatcher] is added to the beginning of the subject line of spam messages, indicating the message is spam. You can set up filtering rules in your email client to filter this text. This feature is enabled by default and set to "Aggressive".

To disable subject modification, double-click on the Mailshell Anti-Spam icon in the system tray. On the Mailshell Anti-Spam popup, uncheck "Enable Subject Modification" in the POP Proxy Options section, then click the Apply button.

Spam Flagging

A header "X-SpamCatcher-Flag" will be added to marked messages, indicating the message is spam. You can use this header to set up filtering rules in your email client. This feature is enabled by default and set to "Lenient".

To disable spam flagging, double-click on the Mailshell Anti-Spam icon in the system tray. On the Mailshell Anti-Spam popup, uncheck "Enable Spam Flagging" in the POP Proxy Options section, then click the Apply button.
