(Answer) (Category) Mailshell SpamCatcher FAQ :
Why do the SpamCatcher buttons not respond?
This should not normally happen.

However, Outlook Add-Ins do not completely load if Outlook is running as a background process. For example, if you sync Outlook with your Pocket PC with ActiveSync while Outlook is not running, Outlook is run as a background process.

If you start Outlook while Outlook is running as a background process, none of the Outlook Add-Ins such as SpamCatcher will fully load. The SpamCatcher buttons will not respond.

To prevent, do not run Outlook as a background process. For example, you can start Outlook before running ActiveSync.

To fix, you can close Outlook completely and restart Outlook. For help on closing Outlook:

Improvements have been made in SpamCatcher Outlook 2.4h to ensure compatibility if you are using ActiveSync to synchronize with a PDA and to terminate the Outlook 2002 task when you exit Outlook. If you have an older version of SpamCatcher Outlook, we recommend upgrading to 2.4h.

You can try the SpamCatcher Universal edition which does not have this problem but you will lose some features.
