(Answer) (Category) Mailshell SpamCatcher FAQ :
McAfee VirusScan - Outlook crashes with error on starting
Symptom:
On startup, while loading SpamCatcher, Microsoft Outlook crashes with an error.

Solution:

If you have McAfee VirusScan Professional Edition, you must disable the HAWK
Script Stopper to allow SpamCatcher to load.

1) In McAfee VirusScan 7.0, choose "Configure automatic protection settings"
from the list of tasks on the left.

2) Uncheck "Enable HAWK Script Stopper"
3) Click "Apply Settings"

Outlook should now start without the error.

NOTE: this problem has also been reported to occur when other Outlook add-ins
are loading.

You can try the SpamCatcher Universal edition which does not have this problem,
but you will lose some features
