(Answer) (Category) Mailshell SpamCatcher FAQ :
Does Outlook rules or SpamCatcher have precedence?
Unfortunately, Outlook rules sometimes are triggered before SpamCatcher and sometimes after. Usually, the earlier Outlook rules are triggered before and the later Outlook rules are triggered after. This should only matter if you have Outlook rules which move messages to different folders.

As a result, if you have Outlook rules, some messages may be moved to a different folder before SpamCatcher processes the messages and therefore spam would not be caught. Some messages may be processed by SpamCatcher first, in which case, spam would be caught and moved to the SpamCatcher folder instead of the folder specified by the Outlook rule.

You can try to reorder your Outlook rules to achieve your desired results.

If you have a POP account, you can also use our Universal client as well which will always process the messages before all Outlook rules.
