(Answer) (Category) Mailshell SpamCatcher FAQ :
Why does Scan Folder just opens a window and closes it immediately?
Currently, Scan Folder will open a dialog window to display progress while scanning and close the dialog window when it is done. If the scanning occurs quickly, you may be unable to read or even see the dialog window.
Note that Scan Folder only scans messages which are unread. If you have spam messages in the scanned folder which are marked read, then they will not be caught. If you want the entire folder to be scanned, mark all messages in the folder as unread. You can quickly mark all messages as unread by opening the folder, pressing the "ctrl" key together with the letter "a" simultaneously, pressing the right mouse button on any message, and selecting "Mark as Unread".
