What happens to my spam messages?

Both spam that is caught by Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook and caught by your blocked senders list is moved to the SpamCatcher folder by default but you can specify another folder at any time. The SpamCatcher folder is under Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]. Spam is never lost. You may review the spam messages at anytime by clicking on the SpamCatcher folder.



How can I customize the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar placement?

You can drag the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar to any position you want. The position is saved when you close Outlook.



How do I customize the look of the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar?

Right click on the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar and choose "customize". Then right click on an icon on the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar which you want to customize. You can set image only (default), text only, or image and text. You can even change the button image.

How do I train Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook?

Training the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook on your personal emails can achieve amazing accuracy.

To approve one or more messages from within your Outlook folder: Select all the messages that you want to train on. Click on the Approve Messages button on your Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar or type in the keyboard shortcut Alt+M then A. The messages you selected will go to your Inbox, the senders will be automatically added to your Approved Senders list, and the message will be analyzed by the SpamAdapt AI Engine.

To approve a message while viewing a message: Click on the Approve Messages button on your Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar or type in the keyboard shortcut Alt+M then A. The messages you selected will go to your Inbox, the senders will be automatically added to your Approved Senders list, and the message will be analyzed by the SpamAdapt AI Engine.

To block one or more messages from within your Outlook folder: Select all the messages that you want to block. Click on the Block Message button on your Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar, or type in the keyboard shortcut Alt+M then B. The messages you selected will be moved to your Deleted Items folder, the senders will automatically be added to your Blocked Senders list, and the message will be analyzed by the SpamAdapt AI Engine.

To block a message while viewing a message: Click on the Block Message button on your Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook toolbar or type in the keyboard shortcut Alt+M then B.
