How do I give preference to messages addressed to me? Most spam does not include your email address
in the To: address. Most legitimate email does include your
email address in the To: or CC: address. Also, most email
newsletters use unique To: addresses in their emails. You
can give preference to messages that are explicitly addressed
to you. This feature may help distinguish messages you wish
to keep versus spam you wish to reject, thereby increasing
the accuracy of Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook.
To specify your preference, click on the Mailshell Anti-Spam icon
on the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook tool bar. On the Mailshell Anti-Spam
popup, click on the Preferences tab. Check "Enable filtering
of emails not sent to my address". Next, click the Add button
and add all of the email addresses where you receive mail.
Note: If you subscribe to email lists, be sure to
add the addresses to which the messages are sent.

How do I bounce a message
to a sender that I block? You can have Mailshell automatically send a bounce
message to senders you manually block. This lets the senders
know their messages have been rejected as spam. This may
cause some senders to stop sending you emails in the future
and this may notify legitimate senders that you may have
accidentally blocked them. To enable this option, click
on the Mailshell Anti-Spam icon on the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook tool bar. On the Mailshell Anti-Spam
popup, click on the Preferences tab. Check "Enable bouncing
of message that I block", then click the OK button.

How do I set a proxy server? If you access the web through an HTTP proxy server, you will
need to set the server and port so that Mailshell Anti-Spam can connect to the Mailshell Network.
To specify your preference, click on the Mailshell Anti-Spam icon
on the Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook tool bar. On the Mailshell Anti-Spam
